You are correct about Kaepernick. BTW Rogers was raised in California and rooted for the Niners.

The nasty cold weather and heavy snow forecast for Ohio has yet to materialize, at least in the Cincy area.

I am a Niner's fan and I will say this about the officials:
Those were some pretty generous spots that both teams seemed to be getting on a regular basis.
(not complaining, just observing)

However, the announcers were so in the tank for Green Bay it was beyond annoying You are insane. Joe Buck & Troy Aikman are the 2 biggest Packers haters on TV.

It is 3 degrees at the Dynachrome mansion right now. I can’t imagine trying to play football

Actually I leaned GB because the 49ers play in San Francisco, and San Francisco is .... Well San Francisco
The 49ers have likely played their last game in San Francisco. The team is based in Santa Clara, about 50 miles south of San Francisco and right in the heart of Silicon Valley. The team headquarters and practice facilities are in Santa Clara. And starting next season, the 49ers will play their home games in a brand new stadium in Santa Clara. It makes sense - most of the season ticket holders live well to the south of San Francisco - that's been the case for decades.
Santa Clara and Silicon Valley aren't exactly a different world from San Francisco, but they're not the same, either - Santa Clara is a quiet suburb full of single-family homes technology companies. No homeless people screaming or urinating or defecating on the streets, no parades you couldn't take your children to. The 49ers will continue to keep SF in their name and on their helmets, but that's about it.

I’ll be well represented next week.
Born and raise in Washington State.
Current Colorado resident.
14 years in California.
I’ll betting on the Broncos and Seahawks all the way.

And going for the TD instead of the FG.

Packers played the final defensive series without six of their starters. 15 players on injured reserve. A healthy Packers team would have whollopped the 49ers today.
Ah, ifs and buts. OK, let me try - if the Packers had been healthy but their offensive tackle Bakhtiari had not been allowed to get away with his game-long offensive holding on Aldon Smith, the 49ers would have still won. The 49ers have beaten the Packers four straight now, two in SF and two at Lambeau. That's no fluke - the 49ers are flat out better, whether the Packers have Clay Matthews and Sam Shields on the field or not. That'll be the case until the Packers finally figure out how to defend Kaepernick, who probably wishes he could play Green Bay every week.
Now well have to wait until next week for that to happen.
Or maybe longer. The 49ers lost to Carolina by one point in a game they played flat, bored football. There's nothing at all guaranteed about Carolina beating the 49ers, as there seems to be with the 49ers beating Green Bay.

I am an ancient 49ers fan from way back. Cause I was born and raised in the Bay Area, so ya rot for the home team, right?
Anyway, I haven’t followed football in years because of my occupation. That aside, I will say this about the 49ers. They play sloppy ball. They have no front line. No pass defense that I can see. Back in the glory years (no, not Brodie years), with Montana and then Young—those teams could play. It was like magic. If a ball got within 2 yards of his hands, Jerry Rice could pull it in. Maybe it was all the “stickum”. Whatever the reason, they won and would win handily.
But as they say, a win is a win is a win. So for San Francisco, its off to pin the tail on the Panthers. Should be interesting.
Come to think about it, the entire NFL looks sloppy this past year. Most teams are full of primadonnas that would rather dance after gaining a yard and a half than concentrate on their game. I think most practice their Goal Line Dance than they do on holding the ball.
Green Bay looked good. I think there was at least pass interference call that was missed that prevented the 49ers from scoring and settling for that second field goal. Kapernik can’t seem to thread the needle in the end zone and that is a problem. But he scrambles good and takes it as far as he can, as a quarterback should. I saw the Green Bay Quarterback try and little scramble and lay down like a p*ssy. Real men put their head down and go for it.
The state of football these days I guess.
Go Niners!

Bengals too. They totally imploded. And except for that last minute pick-6, SD only lead by 10, despite 4 earlier Bengal turnovers and a plethora of Bengal penalties.

“I cringe whenever we are forced to have Aikman and Joe Buck.”
Me too. Worst football announcers ever. Dumb and dumber we call them. The other thing that we marvel at is that until this pair teamed up, we had no idea that concussions were catching.
And you do know, of course, that these two inane idiots will be yammering throughout the Superbowl.

And talk about two BORING games! It was all I could do to keep from shooting myself while watching the Saints-Eagles game it was so boring. Fortunately I fell asleep, thus avoiding that problem, not to mention didn’t really missing anything important anyway.
