JACKSON, MI This new year started with a deluge of snow and bone-chilling temperatures, but thats nothing new to Jackson.
Throughout the ages, hale and hearty souls here have endured winter and spring snows that have made getting around challenging, if not nearly impossible.
In honor of that and another pending storm predicted to dump much more of the white stuff here this weekend is a Peek Through Time extra look back at a couple of notable past Jackson blizzards.

Love the pics of the lighthouses. My mother sent me some nice ones of the South Haven lighthouse a couple of years ago. Nature is beautiful.
