Liability issues if any would be met through insurance policies tied to the rentals — it isn’t rocket science here with IT being a mature industry now.

So I would have to pay X to counter Microsoft's BS in hosting everything in the ether...

I wonder if the NSA, or its chinese equivalent, consider that IT is a mature industry?

Sorry - I hold my own gold in my own safe. In this case, the gold is IP. Why should I be forced to trust someone else to hold my gold for me? At my expense. And at my additional expense for the insurance.

Don’t let your own parochial situation blind you to profitable generalities. If all the would be inventors of the world thought like you did, making themselves the measure of all things, they wouldn’t be inventing nearly as much.
