The song McCartney wrote was Wings of A Nightingale (great video too) off their EB84 album The one with them riding in the 57 Chevy? I can't find the video but I remember seeing it back in the late 80's or so.

That is the one, they restore then ride the Chevy. Sony had a video collection out in 1989 or so with it on it.

My mom took the day off of work and let me have the day off of school so we could drive up to Hollywood when they got their star on the walk of fame. I was one of 3 young teenagers there (who were not their kids) and we were all interviewed for a documentary.
