The atheist argued fairly, not sure what he’s doing with his hands throughout, that was kind of distracting.

Favorite moment was when the Christian said, “I have a basis for logic”, the atheist replied “a fallacious one”, and then the Christian said, “but on your view, there’s no problem with it being fallacious.”

Classic.

Your observations are exactly my point.

We have seemingly very well educated folks that have no idea about the foundations of both how and why they form opinions.

It’s the classic statement from many atheists “There is no Truth”

The Christian or thinking persons reply should always be “Is That True?”

I posted this because it is my contention that we have entered a world in which uncertainty is being embraced as fact.

This then leads to reliance on authority and Government by default.

The only way to undue this mindset is to undermine their foundations.

True! The atheist cannot come up with any moral imperative that truth should be chosen in preference to falsehood.

This is an example of the devil’s clever expurgation of reality. We think truth is self enforcing in our beliefs when, no, it isn’t.
