For the first time since the famous "Freezer Bowl," the San Diego Chargers and Cincinnati Bengals will square off in the NFL playoffs on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.
Early forecasts for Sunday's game have the temperature reaching into the low 40s, certainly a positive development for the Southern California-based Chargers and a stark contrast from the last time San Diego visited the Queen City for a postseason game.

Normally I would root to see the Bengals humiliated again but one, it’s Philip Rivers and two, the Chargers shouldn’t be in the playoffs. So, I’ll root for the Bungles to get their first playoff win in a few decades.
Team is truly a Cinderella and vastly underrated. I wouldn’t be surprised if they won it all. They are a balanced, talented team.
The Chargers have beaten some good teams this year. They beat the Broncos and the Chiefs. The Chargers lose to crappy teams like the Redskins and the Texans. I think the Chargers will beat the Bungles and get the hell beat out of them in the next playoff game. The Chargers defensive corner backs stink.
Go Bolts!
A good friend got tix and is on a plane now from SoCal.
He may be, but it doesn’t excuse him acting like a schmuck.
Syn turf so no mud bowl. May be a bit damp:
“Snow before 1pm, then rain between 1pm and 5pm, then rain, possibly mixed with snow after 5pm. High near 36. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. “
I love Phillip Rivers, so while you’re rooting against him, I’ll be on the other side.
God bless and keep Phillip Rivers and his precious family of seven beautiful children and his wife.
You're right, plus he's a great competitor.
Apparently you listen to the mainstream sports media. Rivers is aanything but a schmuck. Stand up call, never cusses, faithful Catholic, married to his high school sweetie and just celebrated the birth of their 7th child. No dui, no nightclub arrests, no baby mommas, no drugs, no theft, etc. Respect his team, teammates, and opponents.
Wheres the schmuck behavior?
Full disclosure, I am a chargers fan.
All the screaming and taunting he does on the field - he’s like a Harbaugh without the playoff wins. He may be a model citizen off the field but I don’t see the respect on the field. He yells at his teammates, he yells at the opponents, he even yells at his own fans. He was fined by the league for taunting - not just penalized - fined. Bleacher Report named him one of the 50 biggest jerks in NFL history. Outside of San Diego he has a reputation as a whiny cry-baby that can’t win big games.
Thats odd... im not in san diego (houston). And I see him cheering his teammates on, trying to rile up the fans, etc. Havent seen this taunting fine. Which game was that? I can tell you two teams in texas that would like to have him as the QB.
