Oh, hell, a highly-educated friend of mine back in the mid-70s once told me of these two considerably younger sisters who kept wanting to come over to his apartment-— he was flabbergasted by their hot-bloodedness AND their desire “to serve”——These girls will DARN YOUR SOCKS!!!!he exclaimed in wonderment.
My wife tells that she was in home ec from 6 through 12th grade. The teacher told them that they should be clean and refreshed, the house orderly, dinner waiting, and the children ready to eat when the husband comes home. She practices that to a T. But she won’t darn socks. LOL
