Our club’s doing an exam session in a couple of weeks. 16 signups at last count - the norm is about a half dozen.

First licensed in January, 2008. Upgraded to General Class in January 2009 and finally studying for my Extra Class. Expecting to test in January.

I don't have the biggest antenna's in the world, but I've managed to reach 135 countries, WAS on 40/75M and am active in several clubs and nets. It's a great hobby, I love it.

I have been a licensed HAM since 1978. I have not been active since 1993. With computers and smart phones, I doubt I will ever be active again. I would sit in front of my HF rig day after day, talking to people all over the world, till I figured I wasn't getting anything done, so I put it on the back burner.
