Absolutely. If there is no chance of recovery and you can’t live on your own I don’t see why you would keep a body alive. Of course there’s always the question of who decides if there’s a chance of recovery.
If I don’t trust a doctor to make the recommendation on whether my child is still alive I would find a different doctor immediately.
