unreal....this is the global equivalent of Michael Jordan fighting for his life after a car accident...please say a prayer for Schumi if you get a chance...

Is he in one of the Ruling Class Hospitals or one of the Peon Hospitals?

Met him once years ago when he was in L.A. for a project. Nice guy and affable. Tells me he loves coming to America to vacation all the time as he jokes, no one ever recognizes him (and enjoy his vacations with family in peace) here unlike in Europe. Prayers for Mikey..

Sad, all those years driving like a mad man,, and he gets taken out by a rock on a ski slope.
No one knows what may come their way in this precious thing we call life. Grab it and hug it for all it is worth for it is fleeting, even more so than fame these days.
Prayers for the family and their champion.

I'll never forget Schumacher's appearance as 'The Stig' on the UK's Top Gear show. He's not REALLY The Stig, but a gracious man nonetheless. And one thing's for sure.. Schumacher is idolized in the UK!

Oh, I forgot. He gave us autographed Ferrari caps too. It’s in the garage somewhere..

Reminds me of Mike Hailwood. Races bikes his whole life and dies in the family car because of a careless truck driver.

What terrible news - one of the all-time motor-sports greats, he turned Ferrari into a perennial F1 winner, and still a young man. Hopefully he recovers.

Auto racing news.
We drove by the Ferrari dealership this morning.

How terribly sad and tragic. I’ve kept him and his family in my prayers since learning of this terrible accident.
If you are keeping any kind of ping list for his updates, might you include me? Thank you so much.

It may be ironic that while the drivers have risked all, asked for and gotten better and better safety gear, he used rented skis and rented helmut, probably little protection while on holiday.
