In a sense, yes. Michael Nesmith returned to the band when Davy Jones passed away.
They did a retrospective of their albums, with only 2 Davy Jones songs (one on video from Head and the other sung by an audience member).
Mickey Dolenz was the only member who was in every pairing.
Peter Tork was the first to leave the band.
