Police believe Francesco Raccosta - who disappeared from his home in Calabria back in 2012 - was kidnapped by rival mobsters and fed alive to a herd of pigs.
Francesco Raccosta, who vanished without a trace from his home in Calabria in March 2012, is now believed to have been kidnapped by opposition mobsters.
They then severely beat him before throwing him into a herd of pigs - who swiftly ate his body as he screamed and begged for mercy.
Cops say they found out about his fate earlier this month while investigating the southern 'Ndrangheta mafia organization.
Officers claim 24-year-old Simone Pepe was wire-tapped boasting about Raccosta's murder.
"It was satisfying to hear his screams. Mamma mia how he screamed!...In the end I didn't see anything...nothing remained!" The Local reports Pepe as gloating.
Il Fatto Quotidiano reports that the murder was said to be revenge for Raccosta killing another mafia boss.
The feud between the two clans dated back to the 1950s, it added.

The one on the left lacks life in his eyes.
*my kraut mick friend
Stupid phone.
Suddenly the whole thing seems more appealing.
Always so nice to hear news from home. When I was graduating college, I remember hearing that essentially all the male 17-18 year old teenagers there in my home town were dead due to mafia infighting.
Eternal damnation begins early for some, later for others. At least they all die for a noble cause and the good of their appreciative brethren.
I remember they would never let me go outside alone because they told me the “hogs would eat me”.
I guess they were not kidding.
quite a few politicians and federal judges I’d like to see served up to Woo’s pigs for dinner actually.
Back in 1957-58-59 or whatever, we had an old man who lived in home about two miles from ours. We hadn’t seen him for days, so my Dad called the authorities, figuring he had died inside. Here comes the State police and VFD. No body inside, no signs of struggle and the back door was unlocked. A cursory inspection of the barn was made(Sam! You in here? Sam!. Figuring he went for a walk everybody began searching the fields and woods around the place. My Dad didn’t want me along because of what they might find. The chickens were making a heck of a fuss so he told me to feed the chickens, throw the two old dairy cows some hay and he’d be back. As I was doing this I walked by the pig (hog) sty and looked in because the 20 or 30 hogs were outside at the back of the barn. I ran into the woods and told Dad and BFD Chief that I found Sam’s hat and his bibs. They asked ‘Where?” I said “in the hog pen”. Search ended.
How awful to find your friend or what was left of him like that.
Ha. My mothers father was born in Salerno (napolitano). Married my Irish/Scott/English grandmother. My dad’s father was napolitano/ his mom Calabrese. We inhabited the Bronx till I was 15 in ‘65. Went from the whole city mentality to AMERICA in short order. What I didn’t know about what this country was about, because of living in Tameny Hall run New York City could have filled a library.
Good to reminisce about the good things as a kid in a NYC italian neighborhood. But glad to be out.
As we used to say in polite company...
“Departed to defecate and the swine devoured him.”
Or is crude company...
“Went to s... and the hogs ate him.”
he looks a bit high....like on marijuana
We get rid of our debris by backing up a wood chipper to a catfish pond. Best to freeze first. Catfish gullets will dissolve anything and no trace will be left behind.
EEEEWWWW
It’s the Mafia. This is what they do.
And his father told him he’d never amount to $hit!
Very likely only bone shards. Hogs are ruthless, as are chickens, when tasting blood.
Would this be a bad thing to do to muslim terrorists? Just asking because sometimes my retribution circuit goes a little overboard.
I wonder what the government guidelines are for the ‘other’ white meat?
