Those are not curves, they are rolls. A curvy woman has an hourglass figure.

Exactly. And if the present Barbie were life-size she'd be 6 feet tall, weigh 100 pounds, have an 18" waist and be unable to menstruate...or walk. Surely there's some point between that and obesity, like maybe an athletic Barbie.
