Yeah, our new pastor told my mom to take down the signs that said “Abortion stops a beating heart” and “Smile, your mom chose life” with a smiley face on it. Every Jan for the past 30 years these types of signs have been in the front yard of the church, and no one had a problem with it, but our new pastor does. He said that they were offensive and that members of the congregation had complained, but I think the only person complaining was his wife, but that’s a whole different story.
Including a number of so-called pastors. The president of the Episcopal Divinity School is a woman who aborted her own baby so she could go to seminary. She now declares that "abortion is a blessing."
It should not surprise any pro-lifer that nominal "Christians" have as many abortions as nonbelievers. Sin besets us all.
Run, don’t walk, to another church.
Here in the mid-South (Upper East Tennessee) I'd wager the vast majority of girls and women who abort, are declared Christians.
You hear girls say, "Jesus understands my situation. He's so forgiving. He knows why I have to have this abortion. ... Besides, I'm only a little bit pregnant. So I'll have this little procedure, I'll cry a little after, and then that's behind me. Jesus wants me to do what's best for everyone, and this is best for me, my boyfriend, my mom and dad, AND the baby.
"I pray God will send the baby's soul to somebody else, somebody who's ready for him and will love him. Doesn't a baby deserve that?"
It's like the baby's going to be adopted after he's aborted and reincarnated elsewhere.
(Shakes head.)
