Re: Hate to bring this up, but those particular Texans turned into the Baltimore Colts, not the later team which was the Chiefs.

I said, "My late Father attended several games of the 1952 Dallas Texans." Nothing was said about the 1960-62 Dallas Texans who moved to KC. Yet just what I did say would seem to indicate that I knew they were the failed 1952 NFL team that eventually moved to Baltimore. Which, by the way, was the main reason the Colts were the first team I rooted for in the mid-1950s when I got old enough to know anything about the game.

Just for the sake of getting it straight, the 1952 Dallas Texans team was actually a transplanted version of another faux pax, the NFL New York Yanks.

That original post on the subject would indicate you were fans of the latter Texans team. Thus my comment. ;-)
