For a guy who played for NAIA Central Washington, he had a great career. One of his college teammates had a dad coaching in the NFL and told his dad that he should take a good look at Kitna.
When he got the math teaching and coaching job, he asked the principal if it would be OK to buy a bunch of new weight training equipment for the school. The principal said he’d see what he could do. Kitna informed he better make a quick decision because it was all going to show up the next day. He had purchased over $50,000 with his own money.
How is that for class?

I’m an Eagles fan, but I was hoping for a knock down-drag out fight next Sunday with each team giving the best they had. Now that’s not going to happen. But it depends on which Eagles team shows up - the one that lost soundly to the Vikings or the won that trounced the Bears.
The Eagles really need to be battle tested or else they won’t get very far in the playoffs (unless they play the Bears again in the first round ;)

Im surprised he would come in to be third string QB.You know, with schools these days, I am sure 4 or 5 300 pound linemen in his face would be relaxing.

The image of Kitna as a Detroit Lion having just thrown an interception walking off the field as the play was still in progress.

A bunch of cash, a front row view of the game and a free trip to Philly for sitting on the bench.

If there’s a 50 year-old who could still do it, my money’s on Vinnie, guy was in great shape even at 44, when he finally retired.

Joe Namath could fill end just so the coach gave him a bottle of Jack before each game. Just keep Erin Andrews, Pam Oliver, etc. away from him during the game.

Now don’t you think that he fits right in with the Dallas Cowboys?
Hell, he wouldn’t even have to change uniforms.
