Once again, All Classical broadcasts A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, recorded in the Chapel of King’s College, Cambridge. The worship service was first introduced in 1918 and is broadcast to millions around the world. Tune in promptly so you don’t miss the opening carol, Once in Royal David’s City. The program airs at 7 a.m. Pacific, 10 a.m. Eastern on December 24.

Getting nice Christmas music (a bit boring but Mr. Mercat likes it) but I don’t think it is the King’s Chapel thingie.

Thank you so much.

Am listening. Brings back memories of my sons who were in a magnificent boys choir at St. Mark’s School of Texas, under the direction of James Livengood.

Listening has brought tears to my eyes, I see their youthful faces as they sang from their hearts those days so long ago.

Many many years ago I bought their LP -
it revived the singing once again of ‘Once In Royal David’s City,’ which had gone into seclusion - at least in some locations. . .
