Several high-profile conservative pundits have voiced their support of Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson in the wake of his suspension from the A&E show following his ant-gay remarks to GQ magazine, but they’re now missing one of their loudest voices.
On Thursday, O’Reilly Factor host Bill O’Reilly told his guest Laura Ingraham he thought Robertson’s remarks were “a mistake.”
“Mr. Robertson, I believe, made a mistake in the condemnation line,” O’Reilly said, referring to Robertson’s assertion that homosexuals and other such sinners “will not inherit the kingdom of God.”
“It’s not about the Bible or believing or not believing in the Bible,” O’Reilly went on. “It’s singling out to that group, it could be any group, and saying to them hey, you’re not worthy in the eyes of God, in the eyes of the Lord, because of who you are.”

When has BOR ever been conservative?
Bill O’Reilly is and always has been a Liberal.
It fits the media’s propaganda purposes to pretend otherwise.
Two words: time slot. But I will give O'Reilly one thing. He does try to mix things up a bit on his show. It's not all relentless hard news.
But if his time slot was given to someone like Laura Ingraham, I'm sure the rating would be even higher. I for one would actually watch the whole program. That's something I very rarely do with O'Reilly.

BOR has made Fair & Balanced a fetish, and a hindrance to honesty.
FoxNews over the past few years has had a history of trying to “tamp down” these gay-themed culture clashes. I remember the day gay-marriage was pushed through in NYC, and CNN and MSNBC gave it the top-spot, devoting the whole first ten to fifteen minutes of their main news broadcasts to it (all in celebratory mode, of course). FoxNews shuffled the topic far back from the top of the hour, only briefly mentioning it. They were also pretty late (and noticeably unenthusiastic!) in covering that Chick-Fil-A protest day.
It appeared pretty obvious that FoxNews deliberately likes to keep a lid on the radical homo-agenda stuff, trying to keep their “conservative” audience a bit oblivious, and thus, not too worked up about the issue. Other cultural issues, they often like to turn up the flames, especially if it relates to something the Obama administration has done. But not the homo stuff. That said, “Fox and Friends” did actually interview the persecuted Christian baker in Colorado a week or so ago, to my surprise.
I frankly believe that FoxNews is rife with both gays and pro-gay marriage social liberals, and they do their darndest to downplay these issues, if they can.
Anyone finding fault with the remarks are ipso facto finding fault with the Bible.
A&E have irretrievably shot themselves in the foot.
What does BOR, have to do with FOX? He is but one pundit, a very successful one at that, on an entire network of diverse voices.. They claim to be a fair and BALANCED Network, this appears to reflect that goal..
It seems to me that BOR, by virtue of his audience ranking, #1, can claim to be more in the mainstream of popular opinion, than most voices that we share with the more Conservative orthodoxy..

Of course, anything in BOR’s world that is not fully congruent with his view is simply ‘wrong’. He is as arrogant as he is shallow, and he ain’t lookin’ out for me.
Hey Bill, he included adulterers as well. And a lot of other sinners. And he told how to leave that life that leads to death.
So many sinners who do not want to follow Christ.
Phil is a servant of God. The media is leading the Crucify him charge. How many Christians have the same convictions as Phil?

“Bill O’Reilly is now and always has been only for Bill O’Reilly. He has no clue. He is stupid in so many ways. On the rare times I watch him it is for laughs...at his stupidity. Bill O’Reilly knows nothing about what the Bible teaches...his comments in this case are dramatic evidence of that.
