Hi, Vision! How was your week and weekend? Merry Christmas!
It’s good to be back home and here for the Big Broadcast. I love getting to see my family, but getting back home is a great relief.
We’ve had thunderstorms all day today, and another glob of heavy rain is about to hit us now (loud thunder!). No barbecue. I’ve been baking my awesome chocolate chip cookies this afternoon and am getting ready to do a big pan of homemade lasagna. MMMMM!!!
The week was busy with work and now it's time to relax. I've got the next two weeks off and am heading to San Francisco tomorrow for Christmas at my sisters place. Do you expect to give/get anything good?
We've been having rain too and it almost got to 70f today. Crazy.
I'd like a slice of that lasagna and a few of those cookies. Was not bbqing the last few days but will be smoking up a storm upon my return.
Also, if you want a thread for Christmas Eve and Night please post it. I might be able to check in but that’s about all.
Wow, Vision, you’re going a long way to see your sister. I’ll bet that will be a really great time.
I wish I could give you some of this dinner. It’s going to be good! Lasagna is really not that hard to make, but getting all the ingredients together—to do it really good—is a bit pricey. Stouffer’s is hard to beat on the price, but it’s not as good as homemade. I’m splurging on this.
We don’t have much money and don’t really do much in the way of Christmas presents. I sent out a few cards, and these chocolate chip cookies are going to be gifts for some friends and family. We already got some money for Christmas from both our families, and that helps A LOT.
Nice. Are you able to take some time off?
Love this JD.
Yes, I’m off Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We don’t have any big plans, though.
I wonder why Ed plays the same shows each year aka the stolen Jesus Dragnet.
We wondered the same thing. There are hundreds of good Christmas shows out there. Maybe he just really loves the ones he plays. He does the same thing at Halloween and Thanksgiving.
YUM! Nothing better than decaf instant dehydrated coffee crystals. /s :-)
Bing Ping!
There are very few singers better than BING!
“Yum. Sanka.”
A picture is worth a thousand words.
Bing IS Christmas. Now and forever.
