years ago the do gooders pretty much closed the state hospitals where these people belong...the tenents there were well taken care of, fed, supervised, had shopping and beauty salon/barber shop access, were safe from predators, safe in winter weather...just doing fine. Nope said the "progressives & liberals" they should be on the streets, free to starve, free to be molested, free to freeze to death...they should enjoy freedom!!!!!!
Some were safe in state hospitals but some state hospitals had very bad reputations. It was the bad ones that had a hand in the shut downs. The kind of people who work in those places are nothing more than McDonalds workers.
