Now...fix’n...is a colloquialism I find endearing. With that said, I'm fix'n to get ready for the office. :-) Have a awesome day. LOL

I hate all words.

But I do enjoy a sound or a combination of sounds, or its representation in writing or printing, that symbolizes and communicates a meaning and may consist of a single morpheme or of a combination of morphemes.

I can’t stand dude, people here use it a lot, and I call it derogatory. I’m no California surfer, nor am I some punk.

I used to think it was awesome(!) how amazing it was, but whatever.....

Don't you mean, "Like, I used to think it was, like, awesome...?"

For most annoying phrases, I'd nominate:
"Let me be perfectly clear ..."

Somebody pulled out a .45 and blew a hole in their own foot during a football game? That seems ridiculously harsh heh.

I have no problem with the word "whatever", and in fact I use it regularly.

I think it's an appropriate response to a nag or an unjustified criticism.

I'm guessing it's the snarky types (and the nags) that are most offended by it.

It’s not even just “I was like” and “we were like.” They stick the word “like” randomly throughout a sentence. “And then, like, I said to him you’re, like, such a dweeb, like, really.”

“Let me be very clear” is a phrase I hate as obama says it all the time and he is as clear as mud.

“Whatever” is actually EIGHT letters, not nine.

I’d have to pick “literally” as the most annoying word, mostly for being misused.
