There was more than one win, so it is really depreciated from $324 million. Even if you take the slow pay out, theer will be no end of offers to “borrow” against it.

That $120 million is before taxes that usually ends up taking about half.

Out of $324 Million she gets 120 Milllion. The Government gets more than she does. Not a bad scam for the Government.

When the mafia ran the numbers they didn’t steal near that much. In fact I always got paid the whole amount.

That happens so often when the jackpot gets big. Lots of publicity = more idiots buying lottery tickets = better odds of a split.

Still, I wouldn't be unhappy if I was holding the OTHER winning ticket.
