So which Big Pharma companies funded this study?
A healthy public does not need medical attention or medicine. I take vitamins regularily...I do not take any prescription drugs. Even for my slipped disc, the doctor recommended over the counter Naproxen Sodium instead of a narcotic (which worked)
The only way one could get a truly nutritious diet is if they had lots of money and no job
Big Pharma sells a lot of supplements. Who do you think makes Centrum, etc.?
That's because narcotics only reduce the pain (not an insignificant benefit when used on a temporary basis) without affecting the underlying cause. Naproxen is an anti-inflammatory drug in the same class as aspirin and ibuprofen.
Another useful class of drugs for back trouble is muscle relaxants, but they are prescription-only in the USA. In Canada there are two over-the-counter muscle relaxants that are a godsend when my back flares up; the brand names are Robax and Parafan Forte.
