I take a 100 mg Vit C tablet with an iron supplement as well to maximize efficiency of the latter. Used to be 500 mg but then there were those studies about a higher dose slighly increasing chances for kidney stone. It is always something. :)
yes i heard about kidney stone but so far i am lucky and no problem on that
i take iron for blood , i am not sure everyone needs it but i take it to raise hemo count
so we are doing much the same thing.
i also take a multivitamin each day. i feel a lot better. i therefore believe that i may have been not getting enough of something in the multivitamin. i havent the time to try to sort out just which ingredient that may be. but the multi is doing the job and i am happy to settle with that!
all the best,
you should be on 6000 mg of vit C a day, or more. 100mg is nothing.
Vit C does not cause kidney stones, lack of magnesium dose. Calcium cannot dissolve when you are deficient in mag. Kidney stones are calcifications. Take good mag and up your dose of Vit C, get on iodine selenium and salt and what yourself soar!
