The vast majority of people with PTSD struggle through life without such things. They don’t ask for or get freebies.
You have no shame. No scholarship. And no empathy.

is that it being a mental condition could be used to strip me of basic rights. (Moreover, it is sometimes very hard to honestly look into your own state with a proper evaluation: you tend to think everything's ok when it's not, or everything's screwed up when things are perfectly fine.)
* Spent 9 years in the National Guard, deployed to Iraq; if I do it's probably toward the mild end of the spectrum.
