Two threads I posted about him last year...one upon hearing he was retiring and one on his birthday:

Just last night while watching Woody Allen’s (I know, I know...) “Purple Rose of Cairo,” I startled dear husband, shouting, “that’s Peter O’Toole!”
The scene lasts no more than 4 seconds but there, handsome Peter O’Toole, is.
O’Toole’s old friend (at the time...) Woody Allen’s movie is about a T.E. Lawrence-type movie character stepping out of the screen and romancing Mia Farrow’s mousey, depression era waitress.
Why not cameo Hollywood’s Lawrence of Arabia here, if one could?
I find no reference to this cameo in the inter web, IMDB world but there he is. Three seconds, not a word spoken, upstaged by the woman in the car with him who shouts to the camera.
Was it Peter O’Toole and why do I find no reference to this anywhere?
