Back in the late 50’s my first car was a 47 Ford coupe, complete with red/yellow/blue flames, raised in the back end and in really great shape. Also placed a car club plaque on chains hanging from the rear bumper. I was a teen at the time, in high school, with a meager income so I couldn’t do much to it. It was a looker.

My second car was a 1947 Ford convertible fire engine , and white top. Had the same flathead setup and Colombian rear. I worked logging in the summers, school and trapping in the winter untill joining the Marines.
