I too have an attachment for Winamp having used it after first "discovering" MP3s in 1996. And then the Shoutcast service which led me to SOMAFM the internet radio station I listen to at work. That led me to 'discover' ambient Groove Salad music which has enriched my life.

Some things we just get attached to.

I’m a fan of Jazzanova, Massive Attack, Sky Trees, Chance’s End, and other “acid jazz” or “ambient” artists, and I can thank Shoutcast for introducing them to me. I use Pandora for all my random artist stuff like that, but I will miss Winamp.
