This is just UNIFORMED SPECULATION. Please don't assign any credibility to this idea arbitrarily.

I apologize if someone proposed this already upthread and I missed it, but is it impossible to imagine a scenario where this could have been a sophisticated plot to save and secret away Fuddy form the hands of those loyal to the POTUS? I don't know whether Zullo has proffered sufficient evidence to entice the cooperation of some segment of the FBI or other agencies capable of covert operations, but it's not COMPLETELY beyond my imagination that Fuddy was switched late for a passenger with specialized aquatic skills, or even that several passengers in the body of the plane were planted specifically to provide "helpful" testimony. I mean if Fuddy was willing to cooperate with Zullo, et al, would not the circumstance demand extreme measures to keep her safe and to to keep her family members from lingering threats? Would not a staged death potentially fit the bill?

Okay, I admit this is just crazy thinking, but then honestly the idea that the Obama admin ordered this is arguable only a little less crazy. I haven't seen evidence that convinces me it was anything but an accidental plane crash, but I'm speculating here for the benefit of those who are better equipped to either dismiss the idea or consider it further. [Sorry, I'm being so careful to disclaim myself because on another occasion when I speculated about Fuddy (particularly some of her financial disclosures) some people seemed to treat my musings as having greater gravity than they deserved.]

Building on my previous point, I’m not so sure that of these two options, that one is radically more likely or achievable than the other . . .

1 — Arranging the actual death of one passenger in a plane crash not severe enough to kill any others.
2 — Creating the illusion one passenger died in a plane crash wherein all others survive.

My idea above was that the good guys might have staged a death in order to ensure “witness protection” for Fuddy. BUT, now I also wonder if the Obama admin may have been motivated to keep her alive (hypothetically perhaps so she could “posthumously” quell her already dispersed “insurance” recordings so they don’t otherwise emerge though her designated confidantes) while convincingly removing her from the radar of Zullo and any of other “renegade” authorities who might be able to ultimately loosen her lips.

Again, please don’t take me as arguing for this position. I’m merely posing it as an admittedly out-there theory in case others hadn’t considered it but find it worth pondering.
