As well as some local channels from nearby cities. Maybe its just the way its routed around here, but I learned about it from a friend at work who learned from a relative in another area and it works for all of us. Good luck.

How long have you been using the splitter? (I wonder about the likelihood of the provider finding out- though it shouldn’t be a problem to look out and remove it if I see one of their trucks in my driveway.)

Actually you need a 5-2.4ghz splitter with a -3DB tap on it to separate the Cable TV from Cable Internet Service signals in the Chicago market. Even with the splitter, no joy.
In this market (at least where I am ...) they've moved all TV channels up to the digital tier out of reach of a TV being able to scan for and find them.
