Ditched cable 10 years ago and didn’t look back. Had a Canadian dish to watch hockey and curling for ten years. Now that there’s more curling content on the net these days, I have no use for the dish.

Can’t wait for the day of Google Fiber (1GB upstream and downstream) to come to Omaha. When that comes into play (not to mention ultra high speed wireless), cable and dishes will become relics of the past.....IMHO.

Also, say goodbye to the land line. Cell phones and skype will suck up that market.

Our landline just jacked up the price. I’d like to cut that bill but being out in the country with iffy internet, cell phone, etc. I just can’t bring myself to do it.
