When my husband died last year, I lost income, and had to cut. So did away with the cable and phone service, but kept the internet.

My son gave me an iTV box, and I love netflix. Love it - can watch seasons of shows I never saw, many of them excellent. No commercials!

That said, I think Roku has more channels, but iTV has plenty.

Another excellent source for stimulating content is YouTube, which is available on iTV (think it is on Roku also, but check.

Some of you Freepers might want to put “Mises Institute” in, and look for the hour long series on the economy. Will give you a whole different perspective.

Also, any really good interviews that appear on cable will show up on Youtube.

do you like foreign drama’s?

“Isabel” is from Spain and in it’s second season. It looks like a medieval power mad queen is assuring her seat on the throne. “There is only one queen, and it’s me”

In the second season it says “Every queen needs a king”

....

I haven’t seen it yet but it is apparently the #1 show in Spain. You can watch it at dramafever.com just like a lot of shows from Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Spanish-speaking countries and others.
