The Internet is buzzing over a sequence of photos that appear to show First Lady Michelle Obama having a snit over her husband President Barack Obama having fun with Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt as they sat at the Nelson Mandela memorial in South Africa today.
The sequence seems to have started with Obama, Thorning-Schmidt and British Prime Minister David Cameron posing for a 'selfie', followed by Obama touching Thorning-Schmidt on her shoulder, then a glaring Michelle Obama, ending up in Barack and Michelle switching seats so that she is now sitting next to Thorning-Schmidt.

Well they do say Blonds have more fun. Or are more fun as the case may be.
I wouldn't mind having fun with her myself, if my circumstances were different.
I can assure you that while blonds may not be MORE fun, they are fun. I have brown hair, but blond daughters, granddaughters and a blond grandson too. All with pretty much the same shade of blue eyes, which my father in law and his father also had, along with my wife.
I prefer Michelle’s scowl at a funeral to the giggling schoolgirl antics of our POTUS.
Since I read elsewhere that Michelle commented to Barak that Mandela forgave (aparteid) and she had not, I suspect the primary reason for her scowl is that she didn’t want to be there. So grudging every moment of it, her deep seated hatred for whites protesting down to her marrow, she goes to attend the funeral. She probably felt galled to see any white people at the funeral, let alone white leaders, because she has not forgiven and she would perceive whites as celebrating escape from accountability by attending a funeral (too little, too late and where’s that apology?). So then Barry starts laughing it up, having a good time when he KNOWS she did not want to be there. And then he’s laughing it up with a white woman who “shouldn’t be there” because Michelle hasn’t forgiven etc. And this is an attractive woman and Michelle seems to behave competitively with those. And that woman is a PM while Michelle is “only” a first lady. So so seeing her POTUS joking with a PM who is an attractive WHITE woman, he’s having a good time at an event she never wanted to attend in the first place, was just.too.much. I don’t think it’s romantic rivalry as much as it is status rivalry. And somehow, someone made her attend (this, after they got to skip Thatcher)
I suspect her line of sight is behind the Clintons - I doubt she couldn’t keep it together if the Obamas became distant.
Notice how many of the surrounding members of the delegations are oblivious to the juvenile delinquent clicking off shots.. a regular manchild on display?
Wonder why they switched seats.
