That’s a possibility, but it sounds like he was pretty wasted. I don’t think I’d remember the cover story if I was smashed *and* beaten up.
Maybe it was his ex-boyfriend and the ex-boyfriend’s new boyfriend.
It’s much more likely he passed out from being so intoxicated. But that wouldn’t win him any ‘victimhood’ points.
