Yep, it’s totally secular in those places I would think, even in Korea it probably is mostly.

Pretty much in Tokyo - they love the gift-giving and the spectacle. There are, however, a number of Japanese Christians in the south with a horrific history of persecution. That persecution ended when the Shoguns went away. Unfortunately their population concentration was in Nagasaki. Which we bombed.

There was Christian persecution in Korea at times too
