HELP! NEED GLOBAL WARMING! (vanity)
cizinec | 12/7/2013 | cizinec

Posted on 12/07/2013 7:01:05 AM PST by cizinec

I just moved to Oklahoma City from Houston. It's 5 degrees outside. I lived in Houston for more than a decade. The coldest it got where I lived was about 20. Maybe. For a couple of hours. FIVE. DEGREES.

I didn't turn my pipes on to drip and am now trying to get some water out before it develops into a major disaster. Yeah, I've lived in a warm climate so long that I kind of forgot about winterization. The heater in my car, for instance, quit working. I needed antifreeze. I just changed the oil in my car to something lighter than I had in Houston.

My wife grew up in Montana. She told me I was a wimp. Last night she rolled over and said something about the water bill with all the dripping. I said, "What dripping?" She proceeded to cuss me out and call me all kinds of fool. Hey, I've been living on the Gulf Coast for a while, so lay off.

I'm going to sue the SOBs at the UN and Al Freaking Gore for their failure to deliver on global warming. I would accurately express the fury I feel about this ridiculous temperature, but the thread would get pulled for language.

I point out that I grew up in Northeast Oklahoma (Green Country). I NEVER remember it EVER getting down to 5. FIVE.

WHAT DO WE WANT!

GLOBAL WARMING!

WHEN DO WE WANT IT!

YESTERDAY!

Global warming. What a joke.

I’m enjoying -19 temps, -13 yesterday. The cats and dogs are going stir crazy, except my Husky, she loves. Oh, this is NE Washington.

It is time to cook Chili, Turkey noodle soup, big ol pots of beans.

Gosh I love it when the stove not only warms the house but perfumes it and feeds us as well.

Just checked the forecast for where my sister-in-law lives in Montana. Currently -29 but warming quickly to -15 to -19. Had to laugh at that one.

Freezing in San Antonio. I think we are at a point in history where we can declare the Global Warming crowd the winners and now have them explain the coming ice age and what they plan on doing about it since this is their fault.

Someone needs to go on O’Reilly and do it.

Cover the outside faucets and drain the yard hoses.

Cut the water off at the main connection and run the water in the house so there’s no water in the pipes to freeze and burst. Of course, that won’t help much when the toilet can’t be flushed.

When your spit or whiz hits the ground, frozen, you know it’s at -40F, or worse.

We put out suet for the birds, too. We usually have lots of birds at the feeders but not the last few days. It’s too cold for them to leave their nests. The cat that’s been hanging around was waiting for me to bring him food a few minutes ago when I usually have to holler for him to come in from the woods. We made him a bed but he’s not using it.

GLOBAL WARMING IS BULLSHIT
The FACTS consciously overlooked by the GRANT MONEY WHORES (aka "global warming experts" are these:

1. Most ALL of the so-called "greenhouse gas" is WATER VAPOR!  Unless someone has found a way to stop evaporation from the oceans, lakes, rivers and streams, the TRANSPORATION from trees and other plants, that situation will be with us...all together now...FOREVER.

2. By photosynthesis, plants take in CO2 and give back the O2 humans and animals REQUIRE for life.  Reduce CO2 and plants perish.  Increased CO2 = more plant life, ergo MORE O2!  It's a rather stable balance.

3. One MAJOR volcanic eruption spews more vapor and other "greenhouse gases" into the atmosphere than MAN HAS PRODUCED SINCE MAN HAS BEEN ON THE PLANET!  I have yet to hear a serious legislative proposal BANNING VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS!!!

(I suggest these frantic "greenies" gather at the upper rim of the next major volcanic  outbreak to study the "problem" up close and personal.  Now THAT would solve many of our problems!)

There's a lot more but I think you get the idea!

With the alleged "collapse" of the Soviet Union and communism (they just changed their uniforms for business suits, wear their pistols concealed, studied English and came here), the political One World elites needed another boogieman with which to herd the great unwashed (that's us) into their New World Order corral.  Of the several options explored, GLOBAL WARMING won.  Now that IT may be failing, watch for the latest boogieman to be formally introduced.

If you want to understand how that works, reread "1984" by Orwell.  It's all laid out there.

No, the major element controlling our climates is the SUN.  "Global warming", "climate change" or whateverthehell new name these idiots and grant money whores come up with is how THEY seek to CONTROL ALL OF US!!

We’re at 29 right now, I think we were low 20’s last night. We’ve not had it as bad as most— I suppose our weather is mild by comparison.
