Can someone explain why they would even want to donate blood? Donating blood is not my favorite sport.

It is why using leeches (when done in moderation) actually worked.

Basically, the human body was designed to suffer occasion loss of blood.

This is not true for women who lose blood monthly anyway.

Because they feel stigmatized with the ban. The doctor said it well:
