Heh, when I heard about this, I thought “Yeah, I could see someone getting fixated on the big screen and forgetting where they were for a second...”

And then when I saw the replay with that sh** eating grin on Tomlin’s face, I had to laugh.

He just couldn’t help himself, and that gave it away completely.

Tomlin seems like a pretty good coach going through some trying times...I wouldn’t want to be one of his players right now.

It’s pretty obvious that, when he took just one step to the right to interfere with the player with the ball, that he wasn’t disoriented.

You could see that in the video, one step.

The bottom line is that he shouldn’t have been on the field. He knows that, and to say that he was disoriented by the jumbotron is a bit silly, given how many hours he’s spent on the field.

You have to remember — we’re talking about a team which built half a dozen championship seasons around surreptitious holding by their offensive line.
