I guess you haven’t used windows multi-monitor for a long time. No muss or fuss two full HD monitors side by side.

My early 2011 get’s tied up in it’s underwear using netflix pretty regularly, freezing and showing a blank screen. It happens when closing the clamshell then re-opening it.

Also only one external monitor is allowed unless you buy a $300/400 gizmo or an apple monitor.

Hmm, I have a 2012 MBP 17" (the last and best of the MBP in Matte not glossy) which I use for development work, and I find Mavericks finally fixed the main issues I had with dual monitors, which I use every day.

With that said, in general the ONLY THING Windows does better than Mac's is multiple monitor support, but its difficult to make a blanket claim for that since you video card and drivers still play a large part in how well it works.

But Mavericks finally provides a usable multi-monitor solution, and don't dismiss AirPlay on an AppleTV, it is WAY cool !
