If users had a choice, the majority would choose Win 7. Win 8.1 is not well liked by the majority. And MS knows it.

Agreed, had planned to upgrade my PC until I found I couldn’t get a Win 7... so now I’ll just save up my money and go with a macbook pro.... rather have linux on my desktop anyway.
Zackly right. Some could say that the same thing is why Win 7 is so dominant, but M$ took the same approach when they tried to shove Vista down peoples throaths, and it was puked back up.

Have a Mac and Windows. Went bacteria to Windows 7 a couple days ago.
Had been using Windows 8 for a year. Did not like it.
