The other day as I was driving, I was listening to a Fox News show on Sat Radio (free demo for a couple more days).
Anyway, the host was interviewing recent graduates, and the typical questions (who did you vote for? Why did you vote the way you did?) were getting the typical answers, but then I heard something that just really clicked and made me wonder.
The host asked who would vote for Hillary in 2016, and I guess there was only 1 guy who raised his hand. (the following is very much paraphrased) When the host asked why, he said that he voted for Barky because he thought that it was important for society to progress and that the nation needed to elect an "African-American" as President.
He went on to say that while Barky's election started moving things in the right direction, it was important to "advance society" by electing a woman as President.
Which is what makes leftists so incredibly dangerous. While they used to claim that the exchange of ideas was a good thing, they've since closed ranks and decide what ideas are dangerous. And people with those ideas are dangerous too, and it's not too far a leap to decide the way to eliminate those dangerous ideas is to eliminate the people who think those ideas.
