I wanna play too, you guys? I love the 40’s to mid 50’s classic movies. The all time stunners for me were:
Betty Grable tops the blonde catagory.
Hedy Lamar definitly rules in brunettes.
Rita Hayworth, reigns over all the redheads.
Esther Williams stands alone among the auburn hair.
And, Elizabeth Taylor was world class.
The morphing was a tribute to photography and technology, but stand alone photos distinguishes the fabulous from the ordinary, I think, and clarifies the judging for us.
The subjects started looking the same after approximately the half way mark.
BTW, if Katherine Hepburn could make it, where was Bette Davis? Neither claimed beauty, nor were ever noted for it—just reknown actors, extraordinaire.
