Where'd you get the idea to live on a boat? Are you very good at fixing things? My husband was batting around the idea of living on a houseboat, but he respected my panic at the prospect of sleeping on anything that leaks. (He peeled me off the ceiling when he suggested a waterbed many years ago. He has the strength and endurance of a diesel, and a bazillion skillsets. It's all well and good when he's doing OK, but when he breaks his foot and tibia while we're traveling cross-country in the motor home, it's another story when I have to do the legwork. [That was a riot! He had to lean out the window and yell instructions. I have a talent for breaking things--yes, even heavy duty industrial strength things.])
Enjoy your crunchies!
I had a nineteen foot sailboat when I was in my 20’s and I needed some time away from a nurse I was living with...turned into a year and a half.
Basic repair I can do; not a mechanic...I try to keep everything simple as possible.
