Glad he’s OK. He’s got some good souvenirs in those rocks.

Small ones slow down and are traveling terminal speed by the time they hit the ground.

What are the odds of being hit by lightning?
What are the odds of being hit by a meteor?
What are the odds of being hit by lightning in a meteor shower?
To: Red Badger

Well, with no one to sue for negligence, there just might be some truth to the story.

I hope he gets those meteorites back. They could be valuable.

Chaff from stonadoes. Impossible?
I’d be happy to have a space rock, not too large tho , drop it in the pool. They can be quite valuable.
THis “FIND” could pay for the kids college... And more
To: smokingfrog
I believe collectors pay 10k/oz worth far more than gold.

The kid will achieve a rare superpower.
Common Sense!
He will don a red cape and become Common Sense Man.
The bad news is that no one in Idiocracystan will understand what he's talking about.
To: smokingfrog
If you like your meteorites, you can keep your meteorites. Period.

I’ve been hit by lightening. Once. Never by a meteorite.

Is “hit by meteorites” covered by Ocare? May have to add that one.

I’ve been knocked down by lightening as an adult and when I was about 5 or 6 a meteor hit a tree about 40 feet from me and lit the moss in it on fire.
Don’t stand near me and your odds are pretty high.
