I’m an Aspie and it bothers me when I see Autism-spectrum kids glued to devices all the time. They are just feeding the beast.

You'd think people would be catching on by now. Certain medical fields have but mental health is still back in the 1960's and Big Pharm driven. Like many things today there's money to be made and accuracy or at least getting a handle on what is going on goes out the window.

I reckon I got my butt busted many a time. I had wise parents. They saw my weaknesses in areas like sports and accepted it. But dad by the time I was about 14 had me to where I could camp out and care care for myself on the lake boat and all. If the technology I had as an adult was around when I was a teenager or younger it would have been a lot worse. They couldn't figure me out when I was a toddler. Loud noises I closed my eyes. If I saw something that scared me I stopped up my ears LOL. My vison issues were the first thing they discovered. But if I hadn't gotten the help I did early on I would not have had the productive time I did.

I don't want to see kids who have real issues miss getting needed treatment because of the ADD ADHD hype. It's at a dangerous point because hear the words ADD ADHD and say B.S. but don't look into other posibilities for real problems that can be helped.
