Just watched the first one this week (wife read the books and wanted to catch up on the movies). The young lead character was an excellent actress and I ended up enjoying the movie. It was actually well made with a good script and plot.

Just watched the first one this week

Just watched it again yesterday. One of my kids just saw the second one and decided to rewatch the first. I really did enjoy watching it.

I decided I want to read the books if the kids can figure out where the heck they put them.
