Aparently, according to his Attorney, there are a couple of witnesses that will exonerate him. The claim is the alleged victim had been drinking and all sex was consensual. It may be a “he said - she said’ thing, but the winesses may be on the “he said” side. The fact that this is a year old and allegations have been on again - off again, puts this more in the “political arena” as opposed to a straight criminal complaint. Prosecutor may just dump it in the Grand Jury’s lap and let them make the decision. That takes him off the hook.

That’s how I read the Winston affair too….but that’s almost separate from how it effects the BCS situation, and Heisman situation, if it sits out there…..with no resolution.

Not true. The prosecutor has said that he will make the final decision whether or not to charge. I would bet that Jameis is charged within the next week or two. I hope I am wrong, but this entire ordeal could be a sad tale of corruption and cover up. In other words, if this were you or me (i.e. regular Joes), we would have already been charged months ago.
