Friends, it's Sunday night again and time to relax. Warm up the tubes for another 4 hours of classic radio Americana.
*tonight's show will be available at the "Info" link starting tomorrow.
That said, tonight's lineup isn't looking too good. JFK? No thanks. Lum & Abner? Ugh. Options? Boring. The 9pm hour looks ok...
We have Ed's Thanksgiving show plus President Kennedy assassination coverage (bummer). All three major networks covered it that day, of course, but I don't know what Ed will play, so I will include synopses of all three networks' coverage below.

Hi, Vision! It sounds like it’s cold all over the place! I know it’s cold in Texas, and it’s cool here, and we have cold rain in the forecast for tomorrow and Tuesday.
We don’t have any special Thanksgiving plans. Maybe we’ll listen to the Big Broadcast. If you post a thread, I’ll be on it. It will probably be a slow night, though, with many people busy with other things.
Week was fine and uneventful, which is good. But, I don’t like this cold.
We’re not doing the grill tonight. Instead, we’re going to fry some oysters and catfish, maybe some potatoes, too.
Can you post the Thanksgiving thread?
Sure, I can do that, Vision.
Yes, great writer, great actor.
I’m not sure what I think of that ending.
Oh, that was a sad Gunsmoke.
Matt felt bad for taking his gun. He should’ve given his gun back after a while, but he didn’t.
Now that you mention it, are there happy Gunsmokes?
Sure there are happy Gunsmokes. I’d have to think about it to come up with one—maybe the Christmas ones, ones like that.
He plays his favorites every year. :-)
