In the Nov. 21 edition, there was a small blip on Page 1 that Carlos Marcello was to stand trial in N.O. on Nov. 22 for deportation. Bobby Kennedy, being the Atty Genl, was pushing for this, and the Marcello people were fighting this tooth and nail. I don’t know if this had anything to do with it, or the timing was just a huge coincidence. But I thought it was interesting nevertheless.
