I hold with the Jagger-Richards hypothesis: After all, it was you and me.

Yes, we are brothers, and understand it. BTW Lap, I am in the boonies as we speak. It comes from the Tagalog word bundoc, meaning mountain. I am in the mountains of Mindanao right now. I can assure you, if there was a dictionary definition of boonies, it would have a picture of this place next to it. This is as primitive an area, as I saw anywhere in Vietnam, even though I did not see a lot.

I commend you, Mark17 for living there and dealing with all you must have to. As you say, you are in as “boonie” a place as it gets in the whole world. Best regards to you.

I have a copy of A Texan Looks At Lyndon on my book shelves. I am going to find it and read it again.
My father was a conservative Texan in the 30’s and 40’s and he detested LBJ.
I think that LBJ was responsible for JFK's death, I have no doubt.

Thanks Lap. Actually, I was only visiting the boonies, up in the mountains. I am back in Davao City now, which is very nice. I got DSL service, with satellite TV. I am roughing it here, LOL. In fact, I am watching the Florida St/Auburn game live on one of their satellite TV services. It is Tues afternoon here, Monday night there.

Man, it sounds great. I wish I could “rough it” like that. LOL.
I looked up Davao City and it looks to be a beautiful place.
Enjoy!
{It beats the hell out of Chicago) LOL

There are so many possibilities about the JFK assassination that I doubt the truth will ever be known aside from those who were involved. Undoubtedly the facts have been deliberately compromised so as to be unprovable . At the time it happened we had friends in Dallas who said they believed it was the Cubans. That could be true in the sense that they were involved someway. I tend to believe that LBJ was a major player in the assassination.

He had a Sunday night talk show on FNC some years ago. It was too intelligent for TV, and thus didn’t last.
